Feature Overview
The core feature that gives Who's Responding its name is the ability for members to report that they are responding to an incident, and what location they are responding to (for example, a firefighter may indicate that they are responding to the hall or directly to the scene). This instantly generates a real-time list of all responders so that educated decisions such as mutual aid request can be made almost instantly.
Responders are shown in real-time on our dashboard view as well as our smartphone app, so you can see who is responding as soon as they indicate that they are indeed responding to that particular incident.
For non-smartphone users, we have a toll-free number that can be used on speed dial to indicate that they are responding. A successful response will result in a busy signal, which avoids the caller getting charged by their service provider for any connection fees.
